History

CampusCare® is a full service campus and sports turf services company that strives to enhance enrollment through first impressions by filling the needs of academic, sports turf, and recreation facilities. CampusCare® was founded in 1996 by Dan Foley upon recognizing the importance of the appearance and health of a school’s grounds and sports turf to its success. At the time, these clients had only a few alternatives to pursue for campus maintenance: to do all work in house or to hire a traditional landscape company that lacked specialization in the school/sports turf area.

CampusCare® is the solution to this critical need. Equipped with the resources, specialized equipment, and a team of dedicated experts who understand and have experience with the unique needs of education and sports turf clients, CampusCare® enables its clients to focus on their core competencies while being assured that all their site management needs are taken care of by professionals.

In July 2009, CampusCare® joined the Brickman Group.  Brickman services many schools and colleges across the United States and brings the strength of a national provider of quality services, with over 170 company-owned branches serving 30 states.  This merger created “CampusCare® by Brickman.”  This program provides an extensive complement of resources that are tailored to the specific needs of the schools.   In addition, CampusCare® by Brickman clients benefit from access to the experts at Brickman’s SportsTurf Services Division, which is internationally known for excellence in sports turf construction and management.  Brickman’s SportsTurf Services is the official consultant to Major League Baseball and has been the field construction and maintenance consultant for the last three Olympic Games.
