CampusCare® Supports Pitching in for Kids

For the second year in a row, CampusCare® is a proud supporter of Pitching in For Kids, a nonprofit organization dedicated providing grants designed to improve the lives of children across the New England region through sports-related fund-raising events. In addition to these fundraising events, Pitching in for Kids also contributes to community projects, such as the Teddy Ebersol Red Sox Fields, supporting the construction of the "lizard lounge" at the Franciscan Hospital for children, and the Ron Burton Training Village.

This summer, Pitching in for Kids held an All Star Comedy Celebration and their annual All Star Charity Golf Event. The golf event was hosted by Red Sox players Tim Wakefield and Jason Varitek, and included many local celebrities such as Doug Flutie and Mayor Menino. Held at the Black Rock Country Club, the Golf Tournament sought to raise money for the Ron Burton Training Village. The Ron Burton Training Village aims to enrich the lives of young men in the Boston Area.

CampusCare® employees were thrilled to get a chance to participate in both events while simultaneously supporting such a philanthropic organization. CampusCare® believes in enhancing communities through the superior landscape/sports turf maintenance of academic institutions and youth sports organizations and is pleased to be able to sponsor an organization that truly aligns with these objectives.
